Visit Japan Web

Visit Japan Web invites you to explore the Odaiba district, an ultra-modern area located on Tokyo Bay. It was originally built by the Edo shogunate in the 1850s to protect Tokyo from marine attacks. Today, it has transformed into a breezy entertainment hub with a wide range of attractions for the entire family. With  shopping malls and various entertainment options, Odaiba offers a relaxed holiday vibe due to its unique seaside location. Visitors can explore shopping destinations

along with experiencing the life-sized Unicorn Gundam Statue. Additionally, indoor amusement parks such as Tokyo Joypolis and Legoland Discovery Center Tokyo, as well as the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, offer experiences for visitors of all ages.

Aquacity is a shopping center that includes a variety of shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and a cinema complex. On the fifth floor, there is a ramen theme park where you can try different types of ramen from all over Japan. From the wooden deck in front of Aquacity, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Rainbow Bridge. This complex, offering shopping, dining, and entertainment, opened in 2012 and also features attractions related to the Gundam anime series, such as a large, “life-size” Gundam statue in front of the building and Gundam Base Tokyo, a shop specializing in plastic models.

Odaiba is connected to the rest of Tokyo by the iconic Rainbow Bridge. It is an expressway, the Yurikamome train line and pedestrian walkway. It is especially stunning during its nightly illumination.
